I like the simplicity of peg loom weaving to make cosy chair backs, ‘bottom warmers’ and more traditional rugs. Raw fleece can be needle felted to increase density and strength.

I also weave with carded fleece and felt the finished work to blend colours and improve strength and texture. Working in colour, using yarn-over from the Harris Tweed industry and other by-products from local weavers is always a joy.

In quiet times I make table and place mats.

Typically rugs and chair backs at @ 550 x 1200mm start at £130.00   Larger rugs at 1000 x 1850mm are also available.
